Requested Disconnection/Reconnection of Electricity Connection

Tariff Customer can apply to disconnect the electricity connection given to a premise permanently if customer no longer require that service or temporary for the reasons going overseas, repairing/modification of the premises etc. Electricity connection disconnected for temporary purposes can be reconnected on request by the tariff customer.

Note that relocation/shifting will be done only with necessary approvals or consents by the other parties which may affect on such activity.

Customer can obtain Requested Disconnection Application free of charge from closest Customer Service Center/ Branch Office of LECO or download the document.

  • Disconnection is free of Charge service
  • Reconnection will be charged as per the Standard Charges approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka

LECO Customer Service Centers Open on 365 days 08.30 am – 05.00 pm
