Any customer can apply to verify the accuracy of electricity energy meter.

Customer can obtain Meter Testing Application free of charge from closest Customer Service Center/ Branch Office of LECO or download the document.

Charges: Meter Testing Deposit fee approved by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka

Service Year 2019 Charges-Rs.
Testing of retail (ordinary/net) energy meter Rs.2,010/=
Testing of bulk energy/demand meter Rs.4,290/=

Note: Meter testing deposit fee will be refunded only if the energy meter found inaccurate ( Meter error>±2.5%)
